3. Holes 7-8-9 (twice), 8-9-10, and 12-13-14, all at the Berkshire. Also holes 16-17-18 at Adare Manor, Ireland.

• I was presented the Michael J. Smith Memorial Golf Award in 1990 at the Hill School for "dedication to the game of golf."
• At the Hill, I earned five Major H awards for varsity golf.
• I also played on the Harvard golf team for a year and a half; there I received only the "minor H."
